30years’reform and opening up in china has witnessed the great advance of innovativity and the steady improvement of innovation mechanism in the Chinese enterprises. On the basis of the latest researches abroad and practical summary home, a few of Chinese scholars has made a great deal of exploratory researches on the enterprise innovation. Furthermore, the corporate innovation management system was established and is undergoing the consistent development. However, as a non-systematic issue, technological innovation is seldomly applied to the daily operation in an enterprise.’The dilemma was primarily caused by the lack of relevant knowledge about innovation management, the high cost of starting the project, few qualified employees, deficiency both in organization and capital, together with the inadequate allocation of technological resources in an enterprise. Confronting the increasingly fierce market competition, especially the threats from abroad, our enterprises ought to become aware of the fact that innovativity becomes a crucial part of corporate core competitiveness. It requires our enterprises to have the scientific notion of innovation, clarify the focal points of market competition and figure out the key elements of the development and competition of an enterprise. The effective management mode can be built by analyzing the external environment and internal core resources of an enterprise at different stages, clarifying the goals of innovation as well as opting for the scientific strategy and approaches.Guided by the theory of strategic management, the thesis has the concrete description of each element in SWOT mode, then explains how "internal strengths","internal weakness","external opportunities,""external threats" impact the technological innovation and strategy of technological innovation, at the same time, points out the features of various strategic modes of technological innovation and combination of elements to be adopted in a certain kind of enterprise. In the last part of literature review, the means of applying the SWOT analysis to choosing a certain strategic innovation mode of technology is elaborated. In the empirical study, A Technology Co., ltd. is exemplified. The factors which are comprised of "internal strengths","internal weakness","external opportunities,""external threats" are systematically analyzed and the levels of each factor are disassembled. Through the set-up of SWOT mode of A company and the pertinent calculation by the means of analytic hierarchy process, the strategic matrix of SWOT is made and the strategic mode of technological innovation of A company is determined.
