Study On The Relationship Between Trust And Information Sharing Of Supply Chain Patrners Adjusted By Environmental Uncertainty

This article explores the meaning and the mechanism of the trust.Trust of inter-enterprisesupply chain which exists among suppliers, manufacturers, dealers and customers is related torisk, vulnerability and uncertainty,and it means that these stakeholder are willing to and havethe ability to comply with commitments to make in favor of each other’s actions, and will notuse other’s problem to gain personal profile, damage to the overall effectiveness of the supplychain, affect the overall performance improvement of the supply chain. This article alsointroduces the main source, definition and measurement of environmental uncertainty.Environmental uncertainty is a part of supply chain uncertainty which is complexity andvolatility. Paper describes the meaning of supply chain information sharing and the dimensionof the level of information sharing. The level of information sharing refers to degree of mutualtransmission, exchange and learn from each others of the aspects such as information quality,information content and information to support technical in supply chain node enterprises,achieving timely and accurate exchange. First, the level of trust between supply chain partnershas a significant positive effect on the level of information sharing.It is also established for thethree dimensions of information sharing, that is, information quality, information content andinformation sharing support technology.Second, environmental uncertainty has a regulatory role in trust between supply chainpartners and information sharing. It is also established for the two dimensions of informationsharing, that is, information content and information technology, but it is not established forinformation quality.The research has the following significances: first, it enriches the empirical studies of themechanism that trusts in supply-chain enterprises affect the information sharing. Second, itidentifies the mediating role of environment’s uncertainty in the relationship of trust in supplychain enterprises and information sharing. Supply-chain management is one of the essential partsin strategy management field, important enlightenments resulted from this research, which aregiven to the current enterprise managers, are as followed: confronted with the fiercer and fiercercompetition, enterprises can not gain the success if they only rely on their own. In order to adaptto the competition, supply chain become the main role in the competing war. Thus, it is of great essence to facilitate the information sharing in supply-chain enterprises, and enhance the smoothcommunication of these enterprises, which is the key point to achieve the win-win and theimprovement of the competitiveness of the whole supply chain. In view of this, strengthening thetrust relationship between inter-enterprise supply chain is very important， trust as antecedentsof information sharing, plays an important role in the impact of information sharing. Because ofthe trust of partners, the shared information become more imaging, being understood andacceptable. However, when the supply chain face the uncertain environment, whether thequality of shared information,or the information content of a shared IT will be affected.Thentrust will be especially important, the dependence of the exchange, communication andcooperation to the trust will be enhanced, thereby maintaining and strengthening of trust betweensupply chain partners is the basis of the information sharing, is the key to achieve supply chainscale economies.
