Study On Intensive Utilization Of Mountainous Suburban Rural Residential Land

With the social and economic development, the demand for constructionland is increasing, which makes a lot of cultivated land is occupied. Thedevelopment of China’s reserve land is restricted by small number, poor quality,difficult reclamation, fragile ecological environment and many other factors.These problems caused by insufficient supply of land resources are bound torestrict economic development. At the same time, rural residential land faceissues such as layout scattered, inefficient utilization and some other issues.Therefore, study on intensive use of rural residential land has very importantsignificance for the mitigation of the dual pressures of the protection offarmland and construction land demand, so that could bring further advance ofthe process of urbanization and new rural construction.In this paper, Shuangluan, a district of Chende city in Heibei province, isselected as the research object. First, study on the land use pattern of area’srural residential land by using GIS, on this basis, using time series data andcross-sectional data to study in different research scales on the overall trendevaluation of intensive utilization level of area’s rural residential and evaluationof intensive utilization level of rural residential on the township scale, and raisecountermeasures and suggestions to intensive utilization of rural residential inthe final. The main contents and conclusions of the research were supported by:(1) In Shuangluan, the rural residential land subject to the limitations andinfluence of topography, transportation, and rivers. It main distribution invalleys of the gentle slope, accessibility better and place chose to the water.(2) the overall trend of the intensive utilization level of rural residential inShuangluan is rising in Shuangluan, but the absolute value is still relativelylow so there is still further room for improvement. the intensive utilization levelof rural residential in Shuangluan is difficult to improve throughself-adjustment. To promote the improvement of the level of intensive use of rural residential, the better intervention mechanism, Such as the Government’sconcern and commitment, optimization of policies and systems, is necessary.(3) Intensive utilization level of rural residential on the township scale inShuangluan is in a low-grade, the average value is only0.4813. The intensiveutilization levels of townships have a larger space for tapping the potential.Improving the contribution of the intensive use of the index value is the key toimprove the level of intensive use of township. The level of intensive use oftownship in Shuangluan is affected by economic position obviously.(4) To improve the intensive utilization level of rural residential thecountermeasures and suggestions from the village and town constructionplanning, the system of laws and regulations, investment on Infrastructure andConsolidation Model, are raised.
