In this dissertation, taking Jinlin Province as an example, the land present status,intensive utilization situation and influence factors in rural residential area of Jilin province,have been analyzed and discussed by issuing questionnaire about land use and relatedinformation to farmers in different area of Jilin Province.Based on investigation data analysis, integrating nature determination method andration together, the dissertation considers comprehensively the influence factors of land usearea including population, householder age, householder education, distance betweenvillage and county town, salary percentage in whole income, total family income, landquality and arable land area and gets conclusion on the main reason and influence factorsof extensive land use in different rural residential areas of Jilin province by adopting themathematical statistical method of multiple linear regression.The study finds the influence factors which restrict intensive land utilization in ruralresidential areas are law, regulation and population. The greater the population there is inthe family, the bigger the average land use area there is in rural residential area; the elderthe householder is, the smaller the residential area is; the higher the salary is, the bigger theresidential area is; the more total income is, the smaller the settlement area is; the higherland quality is, the bigger the residential area is; the more land area there is, the bigger the residential area is. The influence factors of intensive land use in rural residential areaincludes population, age, education, salary percentage in total income, total family income,land quality and arable land area possessed.
