Research On Reverse Logistics Operation Improvement Of Household Appliances Industry

With the rapid growth of China’s economic, especially after entering the21st century, the annual average growth rate of GDP maintained10percent for several years, but due to the unreasonable economic structure, the prosperity is largely based on the environment damaging, massive energy and resources’consumption, environmental pollution has become an increasingly serious problem, at the same time, shortage of resources and its recycling rates are extremely low. In this tough macroscopic environment, developing circular economy has become the inevitable choice to solve the contradiction of resource constraints, to achieve economic and social sustainable development. Cycle economy has changed the linear model of economic growth in the past, from the pattern "Resources-products-emissions of pollutants" to cyclic pattern of economic growth "Resources-products-renewable resources". The keys to the development of circular economy and achieve economic and social sustainable development are the implementation of reverse logistics strategy, establishing and improving the reverse logistics system, resource recycling and reuse of waste in the community. With the accelerated process of industrialization and improvement of people’s living standards, consumers’demand for household appliances is escalating, product updates faster, coupled with the appearance of the channels of distribution, such as E-commerce. This has further boosted the consumption demand, mass production and mass consumption led to the emergence of a large number of discarded home appliances, this will not only resulted in wastage of resources, but more serious damage to the environment if we handle it unreasonable, the paper conducts the improvement research in view of the household appliances industry reverse logistics operation, which is designed to help the household appliance enterprises to choose the household appliances reverse logistics mode of operation, to construct a perfect reverse logistics system, to improve the efficiency of resource utilization, to reduce waste emissions and protect the natural ecological environment, to achieve sustainable economic and social development. This will have certain practice value and the social significance.This paper has used documentary research and field research methods, gathering up the domestic and foreign research literatures related household appliance reverse logistics and building it upon the previous meaningful research results, this article has a detailed theoretical analysis on the circulation economy3R theory, the product life cycle theory and the green supply chain theory. It also analyses the reasons and implications for the household appliance industry implementation of the reverse logistics, describing the current status of its operation. And then to investigate the operation mode selections about household appliances industry reverse logistics, it has made comparative analysis on the advantages and disadvantages of three major reverse logistics operation mode and their working conditions, in view of the household appliances products’attributes, then put forward the mixed reverse logistics operation mode. This paper has summed up factors that should be considered when the household appliances industry selects the reverse logistics operation mode. It also has provided the diagram of household s reverse logistics operation’s.decision-making process which can help household appliances industry to select reverse logistics operation pattern and construct a perfect reverse logistics system. Finally, the paper analyses the selection of the operation mode in a specific household appliance enterprises, and gives specific advices on improvements based on the theoretical analysis and field research, which in order to improve the current household appliances reverse logistics system, and added that the substantive changes and impact of before and after improvement.
