The background of this study is the current logistics industry rapid development has gradually become the pillar industry of our country. Theoretical research and practical application of the logistics is behind, frequently appeareance in the social reality of the endless stream of new technologies, new ideas, a great demand on the logistics industry technical reasons can not be met, even out of line, particularly in third-party logistics delivery of real-time tracking difficulty.This paper studies the basic theory which can be applied to the third-party logistics and delivery of real-time tracking of radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, including the history of the development and application of RFID technology, the basic components of RFID system, RFID technology standards, China’s UHF RFID communication protocol Review of the operating frequency of the RFID system and range of applications, our800/900MHz band radio frequency identification (RFID) technology provides RFID coding and modulation methods, RFID technology is superior to bar code technology aspects.Based on the needs of social applications and theoretical study of radio frequency identification technology, this paper designs a real-time tracking system of the third party logistics based on RFID technology. This paper designs a tracking architecture according to the system target, and logistics operations processes described in this framework.This paper designes a layered application framework structure of the system, and then designs a hardware configuration and software system according to the hierarchical.In the hardware design, fristly arrange the environmental equipment.This system design need to use the UHF band902MHz-928MHz, design line with ISO/IEC18000-6C agreement. Chose the XC-TF8100B Series UHF label using high-performance electronic tags and the XC-RF860reader XCAF-12L antenna produced by Invengo Information Technology Co., Ltd as the hardware configuration of the RFID system. The paper analysizes the performance of various selection parameters and designs the data formats of the tag and reader,also achieve communication between them.In software design, the paper designs a modular page, including the user interface layer, business process layer, the three-tier data storage layer. B/S structure as the framework for the main system, supplemented by the C/S structure, the paper designs hardware communication interfaces and software communication interface. The paper describes the modules of the system, including the storage management module, a database management module, the basic data maintenance module, query and reporting module, the module functions and processes. Then paper designes three data tables in the system database:legitimate electronic tag data sheet goods storage/warehouse/station data table, a library of goods/Store/Station Data Sheet, then lists the written out of storage operating system design the JavaBean procedure, the final show system interface.Finally, based on the design of the system completed the system performance test of the RFID device, and obtained the data and conclusions. And summed up the remarkable success of the program design of the RFID cargo tracking system.
