The Research On Spatial Differences Of China’s Provincial Low Carbon Economy Development

The continuous development of the economy caused the worsening of the environment; the worsening environment problem has already aroused a growing concern to low carbon economy; As a big responsible nation, China has continued to show the world its determination to develop low carbon economy; Base on the reviewing of related articles, the author constructed a comprehensive evaluation index system as to classify the level of low-carbon economy development,and calculated comprehensive evaluation scores;Based on the scores,the selected provinces were classified as three levels--as low carbon, medium carbon and high carbon three levels.Then proceeded from the driving mechanism, the author divided the factors of affecting carbon emissions into three parts:energy consumption structure,economic structure and efficiency of technology innovation; Then by using the comprehensive evaluation scores,the author analyzed the three influence factors in this article though linear regression and quantile regression; At the end of this paper, some relevant conclusions are deduced from the results of empirical analysis. The main contents of this article included the following aspects:The first part is the theory research about space difference of low carbon economy.After analysing the connotation of low carbon economy,the author defined the related concept about low carbon economy and the forming mechanism of space differences,and then the basic contents of space differences of low carbon economy development were defined:space differences about level and space difference abouteffect factors.The second part is about spatial differences of level.According to the connotation of low carbon economy and the basic principle of constructing the index system,the author constructed a set of comprehensive evaluation index for level of low-carbon economy development from three aspects as:low carbon development, low carbon environment, low carbon technology and policy.Using this evaluation index system, the author analysed the spatial differences of low-carbon economy development of each province.The third part is about spatial differences in terms of influential factors of low-carbon economy.Taking teteroscedasticity and relevance of linear regression into consideration, it gave a research to quantile regression model be firstly used to this assay,then analyzed influential factors by using linear regression model.The last part is about analysis.Firstly,the relevant research about spatial differences of level and influential factors of low-carbon economy were concluded and analysed,and the suitable way for provinces of different levels were proposed.At the end of the paper,the author presented the prospect of future research in the future which laid foundation for the further study.
