| Chinese city construction&Investment industry, as a basic industry in China, mainly engaged in the construction of urban infrastructure and national key projects. City construction&investment industry made a significant contribution to Chinese economic development, harmonious society and people’s lives. In the past two decades the industry has made many achievements, but also there are some problems, especially in investment and financing. Many construction&investment companies became difficult to develop because of financing. Now the state has issued policies to regulate financing behaviors of local corporations. These polices made the local corporations more difficult. In this case, Zhuzhou Construction&Development Group’s primary task is to recognize the environment and the own resources, and develop a scientific and rational strategy to achieve sustained competitiveness.This paper used strategic management theory to analyze the future strategic development of Zhuzhou Construction&Development Group. Strategic management theory emerged in the30s of last century and formed a series of classical theories in these years, including design school, planning school, structure school, capacity school and resource school etc. After a brief description of Zhuzhou Construction&Development Group, we knew the existent problems of the group. We saw the excellent strategic planning and business ideas after the analysis of several benchmarking companies. How to learn the experience and the business model of successful companies, to solve business problems, to maintain sustainable development, are key research topics of Zhuzhou Construction&Development Group. Through SWOT analysis, we knew internal strengths and weaknesses of Zhuzhou Construction&Development Group, opportunities and threats in the external environment. Although the state has issued policies to restrict financing behavior, there are still many opportunities for Zhuzhou Construction&Development Group because of the support given by the nation, Hunan Province and Zhuzhou City. Especially the integration process of Changsha, Zhuzhou and Xiangtan City gave the group favorable business opportunity. There are some internal problems in group, but the internal rich resource, the abundant experience and brand influence laid a solid foundation for long-term development of the group. The paper made the Group’s overall strategic planning and the business unit’s competitive strategy to guide the future development of the group on the basis of the group’s strategic vision and goal. The building of a series of internal supporting systems is to ensure the smooth implementation of strategies to achieve a long-term development of the group.The paper made the strategic development of Zhuzhou Construction&Development Group and provided specific operational model which were valuable for the future strategic development of the group. The paper also provided strategic theories and cases for other construction&investment groups and it had a practical significance for the development of Chinese construction&investment industry. |
