Study On Business Process Reengineering Of A Corporation Main Systems

The manufacturing industry plays a vital role in our country’s economic construction by providing employment opportunities and accelerating economy growth. The integration of advanced technology and manufacture promotes the development of the overall level of manufacturing industry. However, since2008, the eruption of global economics recession caused by financial crisis dragged many Chinese enterprises into quagmire, especially the manufacturing industry which relied on export tightly. Exploring the internal reason, the advanced technology did not produce the best possible results and the unmatched relationship between previous production procedure and the applied technology, as well as the unsmooth communication among business procedures, which impeded the enterprise to enhance efficiency. As the external reason, along with the gradually rigid production demand and updated speed of domestic and overseas customers, the product cycle was relatively shorten and required rapid response to meet customer need. Hence, for assist enterprises get rid of difficult, the application of business process reengineering was a noteworthy question recently.This paper firstly analyzed the research background and research meaning of BPR implementation under current situation, and then made a systematic generalization of theory, principle, procedure of BPR, as well as the relationship BRP and ERP.By utilizing BPR theory and ERP ideas to the processes of purchase, marketing and production systems of A company, the author discussed the previous business procedures first and then offered a reengineering plan in terms of the problems found in A company’s each process and management level. With the implementation of the BPR plan and ERP ideas, the result of BPR project was evaluated and also indicated the feasibility and necessary of BPR in the reformation of manufacturing enterprise.In the last part, the author stressed the foreground and future development of BPR implementation. This paper offered a success example for other manufacturing company to match of business process with advanced technology, to increase the adaptability for the sake of meet customer need, as well as enriched the BPR theory and its application.
