| In recent years, as the process of industrialization and urbanization accelerating, non-farm employment opportunities increase, faerms’ decentralized and labour-intensive production methods become serious obstacles to the development of agricultural industrialization and modernization. How to speed up land use rights transfer become the major topic to rural areas.This article based on the field surveys, and in-depth analysis of current situation of rural economy and land use rights transfer in Shaanxi. Firstly, farmers’ will of land use rights transfer in Shaanxi and its influencing factors is discussed using log-linear model. Secondly, factors affecting the transfer of land in Shaanxi are analyzed, in order to find the key factors restricting the circulation of land in Shaanxi. Finally, overall efficiency and purely technical efficiency and scale efficiency of agricultural production in t Shaanxi are measured using DEA models, and land transfer performance is tested using parametric and non-parametric method.Study finds that73.8%farmers agree with land use rights transfer. Market conditions, agricultural and non-agricultural income are found to be closely related to land use rights transfer will of farmers in Shaanxi. Research has shown that the distance from the county to the village, contracted land scale, land transfer market situation, economic condition of the village, the number of family labour, non-agricultural income, each acre of land revenue and agricultural insurance have significant effect on agricultural land use rights transfer in Shaanxi. Land transfer significantly improves the efficiency of agricultural production, agricultural production technology and economies of scale. The way to speed up use rights transfer of Shaanxi province lies in balancing urban and rural development, increasing non-farm employment opportunities for farmers, increasing agricultural operating income, and perfecting the system of land transfer market. |
