| Yantai Economic&Technology Development Area (YEDA) is one of thefirst determine14National Development zone in China. In recent years,YEDA takes the development of industrial cluster as a strategic direction,and goes all out to recruit great corporations, until now has introducedmany global top500enterprises such as the GM，LG and Foxconn,ect. Afteryears of development, to these enterprises as the core, initially formingthe automotive, mobile communication and consumer electronics these threeindustrial cluster, and driving the regional economy enters into a rapiddevelopment period. In this period, the qualifying of the NationalDevelopment Zones has jumped from13to6. In2011, three industrialclusters has accomplished the output value of192.5billion yuan, occupywhole area dimensions above67.5%of the total industrial output value.But at the same time, the majority of Development Zones in China includingYEDA, industrial clusters what established on the basis of low cost, haveencountered some problems and bottlenecks in the development process,such as the low capability of independent innovation, at the low-end linkin the global value chain, and collaborative division of labor is not tightenough, which affect the sustainable development of industrial clustersand regional competitive power further promotion.The thesis starting from the industrial cluster theory, analyzes thecompetition advantages and the interaction of dynamic mechanisms in theDevelopment Zone and industrial cluster. On the basis of summarize thedevelopment process of National Development Zones and its industry,reveals that the industrial cluster is an important way to enhance thecompetitiveness of the Development Zone, and the Development Zone is an important carrier of the industrial clusters. Secondly, the thesis makea further inductive research and case studies on the industrial cluster’smain development mode, especially the mainstream industrial clusterdevelopment mode in National Development Zone, in order to summarize theexperiences of industrial cluster development. The top priority of thisarticle is the mode research on industrial clusters development in YEDA.On the introduction of regional economic situation, the present situationof the industrial clusters development, this thesis studies on theautomotive, mobile communications and consumer electronics industrialclusters respectively, and make a comprehensive research on theirformation path, mode of development, future trend and the problems.Finally, according to the actual situation, proposes the more scientificmodel for the future development of industrial clusters, and gives somefeasibility suggestions.The study on industrial cluster development in YEDA, is designed toprovide a reference for the management committee, but also hope to providea reference on the other domestic Development Zone and its industrialclusters. |
