This paper, based on the analysis of the panel data of the1997-2010China twodigits manufacturing industries, calculates the agglomeration of typical manufacturingindustries using many indexes such as input and output, and reports the dynamicchange trend in the China manufacturing industry agglomeration, and furtherly, through the DEA analysis, this paper proves that many industries here are inefficient.Based on analysis on phenomenon of the spatial dispersion of the industry chaincaused by industrial spacial diffusion, this paper proves that this spatial dispersion insuch heterogeneity power is only in the stage of upstream expansion of industry chain, but not like the situation of the Apple which effectively integrate its industrial chainwith production or service in a third party. In accordance with the current industrygradient in various regions of China calculated through two indexes of agglomerationdegree and unit labour cost, this paper put forwords the gradient transfer paths withinChina’s mainland for those over-agglomerated industries, which includes: the firstgradient of labor-intensive industry transfer is some provinces near the east among thecentral region, the second is the other areas in the central region, and the third is somewestern provincial capital cities; the first gradient of capital-intensive industry transferis in various areas in the eastern, central and western region, and the second is in somemajor cities in the central region which may be varied according to the change ofnational macroeconomic policy; in accordance to the change trend of the technicalefficiency, the first gradient of technology-intensive industry transfer is in the areas ofeastern regions which have the highest technical efficiency, and the second is in someareas in the central and western regions in which the technical efficiency is relativelyhigher. Through the analysis of industrial gradient transfer path, we hope to providereference for the future adjustment of industrial and region allocation, theoptimization of China’s industrial structure, and the promotion of the optimalallocation of production factors.
