Land Use Equity Performance And Its Geographical Difference In Guangdong

With the economic development, the burden on land resource becomes heavier inChina. In the past30years, the population density and economic density inGuangdong are increasing, which have an enormous affect on the use of land resourcereasonably. This bringing a series of problems and contradictions, such as lacking ofstandby land resource, wasting and on the shelf of land resource, inconsequence ofstructure of land use, gross pollution of part of land, and so on. The key for theseproblems is the unfair and ineffective of land use. So it has an important practicalsignificance to discuss new ideas of fairness of land use, to establish a way of land useequity performance evaluation witch meets area features and the demand of the times,to improve the area land use equity performance, and to establish a long-termmechanism of fair use of area land., and thus provide an indispensable basis forGuangdong’s area development strategy and land programming.This article researches distribution characteristic, regional disparity and effectfactors of county level land use equity performance in Guangdong. The conclusions ofthe study are as follows:(1) In Guangdong province, the land use equity performance in Pearl River Deltaregion is generally high, while the area around the Pearl River Delta region is lowerand lower, which presents a core-periphery structure; North and west areas ofGuangdong are much lower, while the east area of Guangdong presents an higherperformance; what’s more, there are big difference in Internal region, that is cityadministration center is higher than the around area.(2) The features of land use equity performance sub-system is as below:economic equity higher performance area presents a planar distribution in Pearl RiverDelta region, while discrete high value appears in other areas; social equity higherperformance area presents a planar distribution in Pearl River Delta region and part ofeast of Guangdong area, while discrete high value appears in other areas;environmental equity high performance appears in east and north of Guangdong area,while discrete high value appears in middle areas.(3) Land use equity in county level can be divided into four kinds of clubconvergence, high performance and low performance spatial range distributes themost widely and stably. The main reasons are industrial division industrial gradientshift, spillover effect of demand-pulled, and Imitation learning mechanism ofsurrounding areas.(4) By using quantitative analysis, Influence factors of land use equityperformance of Guangdong province are economic development, population and industrial structure. The most important reason is the national economic developmentlevel.
