A Study On Process Optimization For Outsourcing Factories

Economics trend has changed the method of how organization operates. ManyMulti National Companies have outsourced their production to outsourcing factories,so they can focus on their Research and Development in order to stay competitive inthe market. In reality, many of the outsourcing factories are insufficient in theirbusiness cooperation and operation, common problems are lack of managingexperience, unorganized structure, process not controlled properly and lack ofcommunication. The enterprise has large market potential to cooperate with theoutsourcing factory. But management of business process optimization should bestrengthened in cooperation.The purpose of this thesis is to discuss how companies can improve the processoptimization management in their outsourcing factories through research and caseapplication. First of all in process optimization of outsourcing factories relatedconcepts are discussed in this thesis. To expound the importance of processoptimization management in enterprises and their outsourcing factories. Todistinguish the problem process in outsourcing factories through the problem analysismodel. To analyze process and find out the bottlenecks. To set up the benchmarkingin new process design. To implement and set up the corresponding process system.Finally, new process will be evaluated by operation. This thesis makes a applicationresearch on the case of problem process optimization management for P company and itsoutsourcing factory G. This case study proof that all resources is optimized in outsourcingfactory G, and at the same time, costs are reduced in P company and outsoucing factoryG, thereby increase market response and customer satisfaction.Findings of this thesis are useful to manufacturing enterprises in improving theiroutsourcing management.
