With the rapid growth of Chinese economy,a result of the absence of unifiedarrangement and approval system, the outdoor advertisement is in severe confusionanywhere which brings on disgusting surroundings to our city. Taking Haikou city asan example, this paper studies on the setting of outdoor advertisements and throughthe multi-angle exploration, provides evidence for the planning of outdoor advertisingin Haikou city, solve it radically from the fundamental solution to outdoor advertising.Base on relevant laws and regulations, applying architecture, economics, cityplanning, and behavior psychology, this paper studies to establish an economic andenvironmental harmonious outdoor advertisement planning according to the Haikoucity development orientation.In this paper, firstly, we determined general principles of outdoor advertisingplanning, secondly we established the basic requirements and standards, and lastlyaccording to the actual situation of Haikou city we did an analysis of the overall planfor specific architecture, which is zone control, classification control, border control,city important node control and special control area control. Furthermore, it couldbring the promotion on appearance of the entire city and the development of socialeconomic and culture.
