Land Consolidation is by taking various measures,to fields,waters,roads,forest,villagecomprehensive treatment and improve quality of cultivated land,increase the effectivearea of arable land and improve the agro-ecological conditions and ecologicalenvironment behavior.Land consolidation is to improve the soil quality,promotingintensive land use and important means. Land utilization in our country is under thepressure of the increase of population and the economic construction. Landconsolidation is an important way of coordinating the relation of the men and the land.The research on effect-evaluation of land consolidation has important meanings onadvancing the theory of land consolidation and standardizing and guiding the practice ofland consolidation.Through the deep and systematic research on this domain, this article established ascientific index system of the land consolidation effect-evaluation. the article itreckoned the weight of these indexes based on AHP. Then we set down the standard ofscore according to the actual effects caused by the variation of every index after the landconsolidation item. So we established a scientific,systematic and practical index systemof the land consolidation effect-evaluation.Finally it applied this system to the items inShuanglong town of Wushan county,Chongqing, in order to check it so that it providedscientific standards and quantitative basis for the evaluation of the effect of the landconsolidation.Comprehensive benefit evaluation of land consolidation analysis, we can see the social benefits of land consolidation in the region, to varying degrees of impact onecological and economic benefits, mainly in the following three aspects:①economicbenefits: improved agricultural project areaincome increase rate and static incomeinvestment rate.②social benefits: to promote local economic development in ruralareas; enhanced local villagers cherish the land, protect land conservation awareness;safeguard the social stability of rural production resettlement areas; emphasis on unusedland development.③ecological benefits: enhance the ability of the project area towithstand floods; reduce pollution to improve the environment.
