Psychological unfitness caused by huge pressure and series of reasons alike emergeswith successive leaping incidents in Falcon. Leaders of enterprises start to realize thesignificance of employees’ psychological fitness to the development of enterprises. Withthe development of society, progress of ideology, and rise of economy, female, as a crucialpart of human beings, play quite a great role in society, especially those female employees.On the one hand, they shoulder the responsibility of being housewives; and on the otherhand, they also shoulder that of being employees. Their double identity makes it hard forthem to keep balance between family and career and exerts severe influence on theirpsychological fitness. In many enterprises, female occupy a big proportion of allemployees; therefore, the psychological problems of female tend to be more important. Aproblem that badly needs solution is how to aid female employees to overcome theirpsychological unfitness and upgrade their working efficiency.EAP (Employee Assistance Program), which originates from America in the1920s or1930s, was designed to solve excessive drinking problems of the employees. After beingdeveloped for nearly ten decades, it has been gradually formulated into an integrated andmulti-strategic program that aids employees to solve problems related to workingefficiency and physiological fitness. With the implementation of EAP, enterprises will findit more effective to help female employees relieve pressure, plan career developmentreasonably and keep balance between work and family. In addition, EAP can lower theabsence rate and resign rate of female employees due to positive interference of theirpsychological problems. It improves the working efficiency of female employees fromevery side and brings to enterprises satisfactory performance.Through reviewing previous research and elaborating relevant theories, the papermainly investigates the following three parts. The first part discusses the design of EAP forfemale employees. In this part, taking into consideration the currently-existed EAP and thespecialty of female employees, an implementation scheme is finally formulated fromanalyzing the reasons of female psychological unfitness as well as EAP’s expected target,crucial elements, usage mode, and basic procedures. The second part deals with theapplication of female EAP in enterprises. This part conducts a detailed analysis of femaleEAP’s application methodology in enterprises with examples from financial enterpriseswhich present the implementation procedures and appropriate methods. The psychologicalproblems of female employees in Bank S are briefly elaborated and those problems can besolved by EAP for female employees. The third part previews female EAP and cautions itsapplication. Problems which need to be noticed in the application of female EAP arediscussed and relevant solutions are offered. Besides, the part elaborates on thedevelopment of female EAP in China and brings a more profound exploration in the EAPapplication in enterprises.
