With the increasing social competition, people have to devote more energy to their work, leading to work burnout. Severe job burnoutwill not only harm personal health, but also decrease work efficiency and organizational development. Therefore, this phenomenon needs attention, especially the employee burnout. Research on their burnout can be of great value to strategy making.Nowadays, commercial banks have gained rapid development and their service nature has brought great stress to the employees. So the employees in this particular industry will have to cope with the great tension from performance indicators. Compared with other industries, bank industry is more likely to bring more burnout to the employees. Thereafter, the research will focus on the particular group to study the generation mechanism and the effects it may bring out.Job burnoutis more likely to be influenced by job demands and resource, and it is positively correlated with job demands and negatively correlated with job resource. Foreign scholars have proposed the work-demand model, studying the interactive relationship between the two factors. Considering the specialty of commercial banks and their special demands and resource provided to the employees is very different from the traditional, this resource utilizes the Job Demand-Resource Model. When measuring job burnout, we use the MBI-GS questionnaire which gained general recognition.This research proposed the related propositions, explored the influence of job demand-resource model on job burnout and used job resource as a moderator variable to study its influence on job demands and burnout. After analyzing the data obtained. the research verified the propositions and finally provide some management suggestions to the commercial banks.
