Based on the Job Burnout theory, this paper constructed the job burnout model in the perspective from work-family values. Using the method of combination of theoretical analysis and empirical study, the paper has made the specific analysis about work-family values, job burnout, relationship between work-family characteristics and burnout, the regulatory effect of work-family values. The key content and the important conclusion were represented as following:First, this paper studied the internal construction of work-family values. Based on different attitudes toward work and family, work-family values scale is divided into four dimensions, which are work orientation, family orientation, work responsibility and family responsibility. According to job orientation and family orientation, we divided the samples into four types, High-Low, Low-High, High-High, Low-Low. Besides, we analyzed the samples partition frequency, features on demography variables and their responsibility.Second, this paper studied the overall situation of job burnout and divided the samples into three groups. Then, we analyzed the three groups’ distribution on demography variables. The relationship between job burnout and overall burnout, job burnout and health, job burnout and leisure are also studied in this paper.Third, this paper studied the relationship between job burnout and work-family characteristics, which contain work characteristics, family characteristics, work-family conflict and work-family interface. Empirical results showed, work characteristics, work-family conflict aggravate staffs’ job burnout, while work-family interface alleviate the level of job burnout.Fourth, this paper analyzed the regulatory effect of work-family values between work-family characteristics and job burnout. Empirical study showed the work-family values’ regulatory effect is significant. In which, the regulatory effect of work orientation is not significant, and the regulatory effect of family orientation is significant.This research constructed work-family values in job burnout study, proposed innovative value orientation may produce effects between burnout and influencing factors of job burnout, while expanding the framework of research on burnout and the influencing factors of job burnout, and make innovation division of the knowledge worker value orientation and classification study.
