Research On The Development Of Flowers And Trees And Its Countermeasures In The Main Producing Areas Of Chengdu

In the31main flowers and trees production townships of the four areas as Wenjiang, PiXian, Dujiangyan and Chongzhou, flowers planting area, type and structure, planting of different scales and the number of farmers had been thoroughly investigated by census method from May to July,2011. Analyzing the levels of varieties, scale and distribution, the farmers’quantity of different scale and their management conditions and comparing the current conditions of flowers and trees in every production area, the planting, production, sales and its incidental rural tourism industry development of flowers and trees in the main production areas in Chengdu were studied. Learn from the successful experience of development on gardening industry at home and abroad, understanding correctly and having taken the full use of the gardening industry advantages and analyzing the existing problems found after investigating, the development countermeasures of the gardening industry in the future was proposed to enhance the quantity and quality of trees in the province and heighten the competitiveness of the gardening industry in the country or even in the world. The main conclusions were as follows:The existing trees and flowers of each area were so rich and almost up to300in total, including all kinds of landscaping species, such as Osmanthus fragrana, Osmanthus fragrana, Lagerstroemia indica, Cinnamomum camphora (L.) presl, Cinnamomum japonicum Sieb. Phoebe zhennan S., P.serrulata, Magnolia.grandiflora and so on, which was able to meet the needs of diverse markets, alleviate the urban winter depression status and strengthen the regional of flowers and trees in the procurement and marketing. The influence caused by the factor of production environmental of the trees and flowers decreased. Various regions had realized different degrees of scale production.Seedling planted area had reached18940.15hm in total. The proportions of planted area by Wenjiang, Pixian, Dujiangyan and Chongzhou were52.06%、25.62%、11.78%and10.53%respectively. The planted size above3.33hm2took up to15.49%and with its planters up to0.88%respectively. Meanwhile the size below5mu was more than52%and with its users to85.17%. The planting scale above666.7hm2were Shou’an town, with a planted area of2994.38hm2, Wanchun town,2616.53hm2and Hesheng town,2119.71hm2, above which belonged to Wenjiang distric. You’ai country covered1338.11hm2in Pixian and Zitong town covered734.8hm2in Chongzhou. By now, some problems had been found through the investigation during the development of gardening industry, such as the scattered planting structure, which may induced certain crisis of the subsequent gardening industry development and application of flowers and trees with a low degree of standardization. So the quality needed to be improved further. There were only litter large-scaled planters, which led to the low level of specialization. The scientific research capacity and cultivation of new varieties lagged and the market service system was also not perfect.Based weaknesses above, in order to make the gardening industry improve quickly in Sichuan province in the future, we would better grasp market trends and make a good industry planning in the future to optimize the industrial structure. Meanwhile, we should formulated standards to promote flowers, achieve the purpose of industrial mention upgraded, strengthen the information services, establish and perfect the risk of early warning mechanisms, strengthen cooperation with the provincial and outside research institutes, put more emphasis on the development of logistics industry, and establish the circulation platform.
