With the rapid development of China’s society and economy, people’s living standards has improved, the overall low quality of the built environment has been difficult to meet the needs of the people’s production and life. Now, our country is still in a reality of large population, limited resources, and environmental vulnerability, one of the important tasks in the construction industry is that we must advocate to develop the construction products taking into account the quality of the living environment and impact of resources and environment. From the present point of view, however, the speed of the promotion and implementation of green buildings is slow in China, and there is still great misunderstanding about cost of green buildings, so it is difficult to turn green buildings into ordinary buildings. How to find and break through the promotion bottlenecks of green buildings has already become a problem. As the domestic economic benefits do not have a complete research system to study the incremental costs and incremental benefits of green building, This article is around the theme of green building’s development, from an economic point of view, through green building incremental cost-effectiveness evaluation, the establishment of the economic model of the full life cycle of incremental costs and incremental benefits of green building, while the conclusions of the empirical research to analyze how to more effectively promote green building. This paper consists of the following seven parts:Part I Introduction introduces the research background, research ideas, innovation and deficiencies of the thesis, and the research status of domestic and international green building analysis; The second part is about green building’s concept defined, including the core concept-the incremental cost, the domestic and international green building development, and analysis of domestic and international status quo; The third section describes the incremental cost of the entire life cycle of the green building approved, including the incremental cost of the content and methods of computation; Fourth part, based on the principles and elements of analysis of to build incremental cost-effectiveness model construction, has a comprehensive analysis of the incremental costs and build economic models; The fifth part is about the empirical research, the calculation and analysis of the actual circumstances of the case; The sixth part of the healthy development of green building strategies and suggestions; Part seven is about the conclusions of the research papers and summarized, and some suggestions.Through the incremental costs and benefits of green building analysis model analysis and empirical studies found that green building projects in the greening system, building envelope and solar hot water system with the characteristics of green building projects costs accounted for the percentage of the total cost of the incremental per more than eighty, Comprehensive benefits, but also the benefits of the incremental cost of this part of the project to create the biggest, but the benefits are mostly belong to the environmental and social benefits, the economic benefits is a smaller proportion. To promote the wide application of green building, from the area of economic policy, the government should improve the incentive system for green buildings, the builders have the power to choose to invest in green building. On the premise of green building technology design capabilities in the area of green technology, we should emphasize the larger part of the proportion of the incremental cost of technological innovation, and effectively reduce the incremental cost of a green building to facilitate the promotion of green building.
