Tianjin Binhai New Area, Liaoning point first-line strategy, Jiaodong Peninsula manufacturing base construction is more driven by the rapid development of the Bohai Economic. Port as an important hub for the country’s strategic resources and global configuration, its hub port compete intensified. Many countries have begun to vigorously building an international shipping center as the center of the port. In China’s Bohai Sea region, the Dalian Port, Tianjin Port and Qingdao Harbor put forward the goal of building an international shipping center. Dalian Port how to face up to its own development status, and how to play to their strengths, is the problem must to be faced in order to win in the fierce competition in the domestic and international ports.From the view of the world economic development now, the current world economy is out of recession, being at the recovery stage, economic growth is sluggish. Firstly, analysis of impact on port competitiveness factors, the system of competitiveness of port and evaluation methods; Secondly build a port competitiveness evaluation index system; Finally, the principal component analysis is used to analyze the competitiveness of the Dalian port, while comparing with11ports in horizontal view, including Dandong Port, Yingkou Port, Jinzhou Port, Qinhuangdao Port, Tangshan Port, Tianjin Port and Cangzhou Port, Yantai Port, Weihai Port, Qingdao Port, Rizhao port. Draw relevant conclusions and propose appropriate countermeasures for problem analysis, comments and recommendations for the future development of Dalian Port.
