The farmer’s specialized cooperative is an interactive economic organization governed by the producers of agricultural products of the same kind or the suppliers and users of agricultural production and management services of the same kind who unite voluntarily, on the basis of agricultural household contract management system. The farmer’s specialized cooperative became active from21st century. Since the issuing of the Farmer’s Specialized Cooperative Law in2007, the farmer’s specialized cooperative has developed at a higher speed. In accordance with the development trendy of the international economy, the development of the farmer’s specialized cooperative allies with the national development strategies of China and the farmers’ interests. The farmer’s specialized cooperative will play an important role in making Jiangxi, from an important agricultural province with rich agricultural production resources in China, to an agricultural province with powerful agricultural productivity.Although leaders of Jiangxi farmer’s professional cooperatives have advantages, they still have some shortcomings. This article selects the educational background, specialty background and professional background as research entry point to study the knowledge, competence, technology and awareness condition of the leaders of Jiangxi famer’s cooperatives. A conclusion is drawn from the article, namely that the leaders of Jiangxi famer’s cooperatives have strong competence on coordination and communication, while they have to work on improvement of positive work attitude and democratic management, and realize the severe shortcoming that they are incompetent on scientific decision and the perfection of knowledge hierarchy.The farmer’s specialized cooperative is an organization connecting the peasant household and the market. Highly qualified person should be elected to be the leader to guide the operation and development of the farmer’s specialized cooperative. With the faster developing of the farmer’s specialized cooperative of Jiangxi, leading personnel with comprehensive competence are in need. The policies and measures Jiangxi province has introduced to bring in and train talented personnel are positive to improve the quality of the leading personnel. But generally speaking, the current situation that the leading personnel of the farmer’s specialized personnel of Jiangxi province are not well educated or trained, and backward thinking has not been thoroughly changed. Based on the analysis of the organization nature of famer’s professional cooperatives, and the trend of today’s economic growth, the nature of famer’s professional cooperatives and entrepreneur theory is formed. According to this, there are several pieces of suggestions. First, the leading personnel should be well educated and trained. Second, the backward thought should be removed. Third, the competence of learning should be improved. Fourth, the laws and regulations of the farmer’s specialized cooperative should be perfected. Fifth, the overall qualities of members of the farmer’s specialized cooperative should be improved. Sixth, the stimulating and binding mechanisms for leading personnel should be well formulated. Seventh, the relationship between the government and the farmer’s specialized cooperative should be clearly defined.
