Recently, ethical leadership and employee creativity have become one of the hot spot in organizational behavior. The concept of ethical leadership came into being because of the importance of social responsibility to cooperation, while employee creativity was for the fierce market competition. From the intrinsic motivation theory, ethical leadership has a positive impact on employee creativity. However, the research on ethical leadership and employee creativity is still on the start-up period. This paper uses ethical leadership as independent variable, employee creativity as dependent variable, explores the relationship between them. But, this paper also analyzes the mediated moderator model. Specifically, we analyze the mediate effect of peer support and the moderate effect of adaptive-innovative cognition styles.Based on the review of literature relevant to ethical leadership and employee creativity, the paper conducts questionnaire survey of204respondents, makes data data analysis to test the hypotheses. We will show the conclusions and summarize the significance, limitations, contributions and future research directions of this study.Several conclusions are showed as followed:(l)Ethical leadership has a positive impact on employee creativity. Specifically, character/integrity, collective motivation have significant positive impact on employee creativity.(2)Both peer support and adaptive-innovative cognition styles have significant positive impact on employee creativity.(3)Adaptive-innovative cognition styles moderates the relationship between ethical leadership and employee creativity, ethical leadership and peer support. Specifically, adaptive-innovative cognition styles moderates the relationship between collective motivation or encouragement and employee creativity. It also moderates the relationship between all four dimensions of ethical leadership and employee creativity. (4)Peer support mediates the relationship between ethical leadership and employee creativity. Specifically, peer support completely mediates the relationship between collective motivation and employee creativity.(5)The moderating effect of adaptive-innovative cognition styles has an impact on employee creativity through the mediator (peer support).
