One of the challenges of today's working environment is creating corporate behaviors.which promotes employee's creativity.Leaders' behaviors have significant impact over the context within creativity can occur.Empowering leadership is one of the significant type of leadership that was not take into concern seriously.For that,this study will go deep in this type of leadership by combining theories of leadership behaviors,empowerment,and creativity.Studies on leadership usually undertake a particular leader who has managerial power over team or group of employees.Empowering leadership is a developed perception of leadership as a group-level phenomenon.It forms on abilities such as self-leadership,semi-autonomous and self-managed work groups,and participative decision-making that are normally studied as variances of leadership by a particular leader.Empowering leadership is specified through some behaviors,in this study eight behaviors will be discussed,which represent empowering leadership according to some previous studies.Empowering leadership is seen as more spread,informal and developing than other leadership behaviors.Modern studies indicate that empowering leadership behaviors can have positive impact on a variant of outcome variables.One of them is creativity.For that,much creativity studies recognize significant circumstances that are more likely to be found in empowering than controlling leadership.Enhanced creativity may be one of the most precious advantages of empowering leadership behaviors.This study tested a theoretical model linking empowering leadership behaviors with employee's creativity via a number of main variables.Intrinsic motivation as a mediator and interpersonal trust as moderator.The data for this study was collected through a survey,which was distributed to professional employees who work in public and private telecommunication companies in Yemen,and have an experience with R&D projects.The author found that,as predicted,empowering leadership behaviors positively influence intrinsic motivation,which in turn positively impact employee's creativity.In addition,it was realized that affect-based trust and cognitive-based trust moderated the relationship between empowering leadership behaviors and intrinsic motivation.This research provide the most important concepts and prove hypotheses that clear the path about the impact of empowering leadership behaviors on employee's creativity.Implications for future research on both empowering leadership behaviors and creativity are explained.As a result,leaders can have a clear vision on how to promote a great environment for team members in R&D projects to enhance their creativity.That could be achieved when leaders pay attention to their behaviors and understand its effect on followers.In summary,this study offers explanations and suggestions that directly linking empowering leadership behaviors to employee's creativity,and suggests improvements to current managing system.
