Research On Industry Selection When Gansu Province Undertaking Eastern Industry Transfer

Industrial transfer is also known as the Industrial Regional Transferring. It has been a widespread phenomenon in the process of economic development in the world, it’s the only way of upgrading of the industrial structure of the various regions and regional economic development. The industrial transfer is not only the way to upgrade industrial in developed areas and speed up the economic development, but also the important opportunities to adjust the industrial structure in underdeveloped areas and achieve leapfrog development. In the context of international industrial transfer, the eastern China is the first to seize the opportunity and achieve a breakthrough development of economic through undertaking industrial transfer. Now when the eastern region continues to undertake international industrial transfer actively, it also began to shift the industry which does not have a competitive advantage to the central and western regions in China. This is an important opportunity to narrow the gap with the Midwest and eastern regions, and enhance the comprehensive strength of the regional. Gansu is located in China’s underdeveloped western region, and is an important area of undertaking industrial transfer. Therefore, how to scientifically select the industry, how to undertake industrial transfer rationally and effectively and how to inject new impetus for economic development are the major problem which is urgent need to solve in Gansu province.This paper takes Gansu’s industry selection problem of undertaking eastern industry transfer as the research object. On the basis of literature, expounded the concept of industry and industrial transfer, and combed relevant theory of industrial transfer and industrial selection, and established the theoretical basis for this paper. Then combined qualitative and quantitative analysis, analyzed the realistic foundation and undertake the status quo of undertaking industry transfer in the eastern part of Gansu Province.On the basis of the analysis of the current situation, quantitative study of Gansu’s industry selection of undertaking eastern industrial transfer from the trend of industrial transfer of the eastern part and competitive industries of Gansu, concluded a relatively reasonable industry selection in Gansu Province. Finally, get some revelations of undertake industrial transfer of the eastern region in Gansu Province on the basis of the preceding analysis.
