Study On Technological Innovation Evaluation Of TH Company Based On DEA Method

As one of the minor enterprises in Tianshui industrial electrical appliance industry, TH is mainly engaged in R&D. manufacturing, selling and serving of lifting electric components and lifting electric system device, high Low-voltage electrical equipment, intelligent power distribution automation, substation integrated automation, industrial electrical automation systems and equipment and intelligent building electrical engineering. Now the company has owned a group of excellent technical talents in the field of industrial automation, and its products and technical services are consisted in the industries of electrical power, metallurgy, machinery, petrochemical, railway, building, heating, water supply and so on. In recent years, with the rapid development by the technological innovation as well as the internal management mechanism reform, TH has become the first company which stepped into the She-tang industrial park, the national economic and technological development zone in Tianshui. At the same time, it is also supported by a series of national policy funds such as National Innovation Fund. At present, TH is becoming an influential private high-tech minor enterprise in Tianshui with the annual sales revenue of fifty million and the tax payable of three million.In order to effectively evaluate the efficacy of the TH’s technological innovation management, this research selected some input and output indicators based on the characteristics of TH company technological innovation; Selected the C2R model of the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) to evaluate the status of the technologic innovation management in the past three years according to the observational research on the company’s development process and the technologic innovation management; By selecting four input indicators and three output indicators of technological innovation, and analyzing the results of the model, we can make a conclusion that the operation and management have reached to the optimal condition in2010and2011. In contrast, because of the lacking production and operation, excessive investment and the lag of the match between technological innovation management and investment scale, the operation and management did not achieve the optimum in2009.This paper is divided into six parts. The first one introduces the background and significance of this topic and combs the background of enterprise technological innovation of the electrical industry in Tianshui. TH company is the typical enterprise of electrical appliance industry in this city, and its development is closely related to the technological innovation. Meanwhile, this part illustrates the research content and the method of this article. The second part contains a comprehensive review on the theory and method of technological innovation and the method of DEA technique and its application. The third part summarizes the technological innovation effect and the existing management problems of TH company according to its background and status. In the fourth part, we set up the management index system by analyzing the principles and ideas of the technological innovation, and also build the model of the technological innovation evaluation, which is used to study the management index effectively. The fifth part is devoted to analyzing the results of TH’s technological innovation and putting forward some improvement strategies about the technological innovation management. At last, the sixth part is the general conclusion of the full text, and it gives the outlook of the technological innovation in TH company.
