After China’s accession to the WTO, China’s tobacco industry is facing a huge challenge and orderly development, in order to protect the tobacco company’s long-term development, reform is imperative, compensation management as an important part of enterprise management, and human resources management’ core areas, is one of the priorities of the reform of the tobacco companies. Reasonable and effective compensation system can not only stimulate the enthusiasm and creativity of employees, to promote the goals of the organization, but also attract and retain a competitive workforce for the company in today’s increasingly competitive talent.In this paper, on the base of the compensation theory, for the case of Gansu tobacco industry corporation, Analyzed the current remuneration of the status quo and problems, and Gansu tobacco industry compensation management system is optimized design. First start from the background and overview of Gansu Tobacco Industrial Co., Ltd., further analysis of the status of the compensation management Gansu Tobacco Industrial Co., Ltd., analyze its salary management system, the next Gansu Tobacco Industrial Co., Ltd. Salary management system optimized design, including design purposes, objectives and principles, design ideas and content, salary structure, performance appraisal program, finally proposed safeguards of the new remuneration scheme.
