The pressure of industrial upgrading in developed areas and significant differences inregional resource endowments, is the basis in reality for industrial transfer. Since the reformand opening up, China’s industrial transfer led to the free flow of element resources andpromote the development of regional economic balance. Its employment effects are worthyof being deeply researched.This paper analyzes the current situation and changing trend of China’s industrial transferand non-farm employment of rural labor using a lot of statistical yearbook and collectedrelated datas, and discusss the reason for China’s industrial transfer.It also analyzes the impactof China’s industrial transfer having on non-farm employment of rural labor from the macroand micro perspectives. This paper analyzes internal relation through setting up twodepartments theoretical model and tests the regression result from the micro perspective logitmodel. At last, it summarizes the total paper, and draws up some policy recommendations topromote the transfer of industries.This study is divided into the following sections:The first chapter is the introduction of the purpose and significance, research literaturesummaries at home and abroad, and defining the relevant concepts. Then the first chapterintroduces the content, method of the research and the features and innovation.The second chapter uses a lot of statistical yearbook and collected related datas to analyzethe current situation and changing trend of China’s industrial transfer and non-farmemployment of rural labor.The third chapter analyzes the reason of industrial transfer and dynamic mechanism frompush factors and pull factors.The fourth chapter is setting up two-department theoretical model from themacro-prospective, and analyzes direct effects and indirect effects through undertakingindustries.It also further explores the relationship between factor mobility and changes in thestructure of employment.The fifth chapter sets up the non-farm employment theoretical model and econometricmodel based on the theory of relative deprivation from the micro-prospective. It also selectsappropriate indicators from the sample data of CGSS2008and uses the software Eviews toregress the data, then gives some conclusions.The sixth chapter summarizes conclusion of the paper and draws up some policysuggestions.
