Study Of The Relationship Between Environmental Pollutants And Economic Development Of Hebei Province

With the rapid progress of industrialization in Hebei Province, the contradiction ofeconomic development and environmental pollution is more and more serious. This paperselecting the environmental pollutants and economic data from1995to2010of HebeiProvince, we can analyses the relationship between GDP per capita and pollutantsdischarge with the help of SPSS and EXCEL software system. Then establish the model ofEnvironmental Kuznets Curve of environmental pollutants and economic data. The resultsshow that except industrial soot and industrial solid wastes still on the rise, the others havecrossed turning points of EKC.Firstly, we elaborate the theory of the relationship between environmental pollutantsand economic. on the one hand, we introduce the background and significance andresearch situation at home and abroad of the relationship between the environmentalpollutants and economic; on the other hand, we not only introduce the concept andclassification and influencing factor of environmental pollutants, but also introduce therelated theories and problems of economic development.Secondly, the paper introduces the instrument of study the relationship between theenvironmental pollutants and economic—the environmental Kuznets curve, including themeaning and characteristic and application of EKC, and also introduce the indicatorsselection and the several curves of measurement models. Based on the introduction ofEKC, we can get the theoretical basis for the study of environmental pollutants andeconomic relations for under chapter.Moreover, the paper study of the environmental pollutants and economic data ofHebei Province, through the related data, we establish the models of EKC for eachenvironment indicators and then get the environmental conditions of Hebei Province. Wealso get the EKC model of China, comparing with the EKC models of Hebei Province andChina, we can find their relations and the differences.Finally, through the study of relationship between environmental pollutants andeconomic growth of Hebei Province, we can find the problems and deficiency existing, combined with the actual situation, we can put forward the feasible suggestions ofEnvironmental protection and economic development activities of Hebei Province.
