With the rapid development of social economy, people's living standard increases and lifestyle changes, so children become the focus of family life. Parents don't hesitate to buy toys, making toys account for a big proportion of household consumption, so the toy market is rapidly growing. According to market feedback, several well-known global toy brands are foreign.In the face of the great potential toy market, most toy enterprises in our country are still relatively weak and stay in the early stages of processing:in lack of the consciousness of hardship and independent innovation, designed educational toys can't meet preschool children's needs and attract them. About 75% of toys around the world are manufactured in China, so in order to make domestic toys attract mass consumption, creating brands becomes more and more important.Toy as a educational tool plays an important role in children's growth and is a natural way of children's learning. A good kind of educational toys is a teacher and plays an important role in different age groups. At present, the demand for preschool children's educational toys gradually rises in market. Many parents are realizing that toys are not only entertaining but also variously functional. Therefore, when buying toys, they pay more attention to their meaning of education. They believe that toys should make children happy to accept knowledge and invisibly improve children's comprehensive quality.Educational toy is one of the current trends of toy development. With the progress of the society, children's educational toys in general can not meet the need of modern children, which requires innovation to design more creative toys. We can break through the traditional thought of only considering the shape, material, color, and function of toys on the basis of making safe, and design a kind of cloth building blocks according with preschool children's psychological characteristics, making it more in line with the visual perception of children's needs to create a world like fairy tale. This not only reflects the distinct personality and culture connotation of toys, but promotes educational toys to achieve greater consumer market.Through the study of many toy markets and the analysis of preschool children's personality, in terms of the existing good designs, the paper discusses innovation and development of preschool children's educational toys according to children's psychological and physical characteristics and current social living environment, etc.
