With the rapid development of city industry and automobile industry, trafficaccidents have become a major threat to people’s life. In China, about50,000peopledied in a car accident every year, and it is mostly due to pilot’s operational errors causedby unclear road conditions. In the city, a lot of bi-through lanes set up a turn-aroundpoint, and the lanes are generally isolated from the green belt, so it is not easy for thepilots to see vehicles opposite side when turning around, which will lead to securityrisks. A traditional solution is to install traffic lights, but traffic lights will cause a wasteof resources when there are few vehicles and traffic jams when there are lots of vehicles. Thisdesign proposes wireless ruling mode innovatively, that is, the pre-warning system starts onlywhen there are vehicles turning around, which not only prevents the risk of collision butalso avoids traffic congestion and the waste of resources. Its design principle is to selectone of a plurality of road access requests, in order to avoid multiple access requestconflicts.The Monitoring and pre-warning system described in this paper consists of avehicle passing detector, a vehicle parking detector, a forward alarm, a backward alarm,a wireless data transceiver module and a voice communication and broadcast module,which can provide light, sound and multiple pre-warning signal to avoid conflict to thevehicles,pedestrians and other traffic participants, thus it not only strengthen thewarning effect, but broaden the scope of application.The main contents are summarized as follows:①The research background and significance of the monitoring and pre-warningsystem are introduced in the paper, the purpose and meaning of the subject are given. Atlast, a brief introduction is given to each chapter.②Base on the analysis of the system requirement above, the principle of thesystem are summarized, the design scheme of the system is given, and each module ofthe system are described in detail.③A detailed description of each part of the hardware circuit design are given,including the minimum system circuit of STM32F103ZET6, FLASH interface circuit,SRAM interface circuit, EEPROM interface circuit, RF wireless transceiver circuit,power management circuit and battery charge and discharge protection circuit, and atlast, the PCB design points are listed. ④Base on the hardware design and modular programming idea, the systemsoftware modules are developed. Including a variety of start-up programs inside ARM,FLASH driver, EEPROM configuration program, power protection program, LEDdisplay driver and PC software development.⑤At last, the completion situation of the current work is summed up, and somedeficiencies exist and some parts need to be improved are pointed out in this paper.
