It not only made great contributions to the economic progress of our society, but also improving people’s livelihood. All these factors made construction industry a pillar of China’s economy. General construction projects usually demand vast investments and long cycles to guarantee the construction’s quality and implementation. As a result, the project scheduling control becomes extremely important. It based on the project scheduling plan and target on the project implementation process, it combines tasks, durations, costs and resources together and can fully reflects the status of the project. During the project implementation process, the project scheduling control takes on the tasks of supervising and checking dynamic changes of the project, and meanwhile, makes corrections for the deviations. A lot of methods can be used for project scheduling control, such as horizontal line method, S curve method and Earned Value Analysis method. In this paper, we take the commercial residential buildings-Weifang Intermodal Home as an example to discuss how to use the project scheduling plan and control theory to accomplish the desired result. This paper consists of six parts. The first part is the Introduction part which including background, the significance of research and methods, research status and development tendency domestically and abroad, technology roadmap, innovation and weaknesses. The second part is about project schedule control theory and methods, including the concept and characteristics of the project schedule control, content and methods, etc. The third part is about the description of project of the Weifang intermodal home, which including the project overview, the goal of building and organizations. The fourth part is about the scheduling control of the project, including the implementation of project progress, project schedule optimization, the factors of the progress and the progress of the project control process.
