With the fast development of technology, there are many major electricity consumers. It is very important to develop the local economic. As the hub part of grid, thedevelopment and Construction of substations have become important project to influent the national economy. The monitoring system of substation environments cancollect the environment Parameter.As a result, it controls the initiative of the accidenttreatment, avoiding the misjudgment,reducing the accident dealing time and outagetime, decreasing the substations’ running risk, and guaranteeing the quality of powersupply. It will realize the modernized management of the substations’ running.This article take into account many factors that the process of data transmissionpower loss, in high voltage environment electromagnetic interference, datatransmission distance and transmission rate, the system can be expanded andflexibility, chose the way of combination ZigBee wireless networking technologyand WSN technology, designed a substation monitoring system. The system fortemperature, humidity of transformer,battery room, cable head, high-voltage roomand concentration of SF6gas leakage, display monitoring results and alarm in the PCinformation.The system combines intelligent, centralized in itself, mainly constitutedby the PC and the coordinator node equipment, the router node equipment, terminalnode equipment.In this article, I use CC2430chip as the core, the design of the hardware circuitcomprising coordinator node, router node, terminal node. In the coordinator nodecomprising: RS232level conversion circuit and a power supply circuit; router nodecomprising: by the CC2591chip RF front-end amplifier circuit and a power supplycircuit; termination node comprising: temperature, humidity measuring circuit andthe concentration of SF6gas leakage measuring circuit. Due to limitations of theinstallation and wiring, the terminal node use a battery-powered, the coordinator node and router nodes use a power supply.In this article,a software program designed to monitor nodes in each monitorand PC interface. The software design of the monitoring nodes, article gives processflow diagram of each node and its subroutines. For the PC interface design ofsubstation environment monitoring comprising: the design of landing interface,thearticle gives the flow chart of landing interface and monitor interface.Finally, thearticle gives the testing of system function, determine the most suitable forcommunication distance of the system, verify the reliability and stability of thesystem.
