By analyzing the rights,liabilities and benefits the participants have, the paper illustrates the realistic function and significance the joint development can bring. Then the paper analysises the specific methods of Joint Development cases in Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore, and sums up the experience in method which are worthy of learning. At the same time it points out that the Policies and mechanisms will promote a smooth implementation of joint development. Then based on the summary of domestic and foreign relevant experiences, and combining with the concrete reality of our country, the paper builds some suitable aspects to form a method system. These aspects include "security mechanism+integrated planning+integrated design+the choice of developers+development timing coordinated+achieve economic equilibrium". It hopes that these aspects can guide the joint development of cities in China.
