| Construction industry is the pillar industry of our country. In recent years, with the development of our society and economy, civil construction industry, as an important part of the construction industry, has also developed rapidly. However, the safety management in civil construction industry is not optimistic and accidents occurred frequently. Accidents not only cause increased investment in civil projects, but also waste a lot of resources within the community, which is one of the reasons that lead to long-term losses in civil construction industry. And this has seriously affected the sustainable development of China’s civil construction industry.After researching related materials, this paper insists that the reason for this situation is the lack of evaluation and analysis mechanisms on the project safety situation in enterprises, or the safety evaluation system in civil construction enterprises is imperfect. Both will make an error of judgment on safety situation, and thus the project manager will be unable to make the right decisions. Safety accidents in civil projects are closely related to the miss or incompetence of the comprehensive evaluation system. Therefore, how to establish a safety evaluation system for civil projects to achieve a true evaluation of the safety situation and take appropriate measures to reduce the accident rate is the main content of this paper.Firstly, this paper analyzes and summarizes related research on safety evaluation in civil projects, construction safety management evaluation theories and methods in civil projects and laws and regulations related to safety in civil projects to identify the entry point. Secondly, combined with comprehensive evaluation index system principles and factors related to civil project’s safety, this paper designs the index system to evaluate the safety situation of the civil projects. Thirdly, using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method and AHP method to build comprehensive evaluation model, and the results are the basis for safety management decisions. Finally, this paper presents measures and suggestions to improve the civil projects’safety managementThe construction of civil projects has similar characteristics, so this study has some applicability to other civil construction units to provide reference and guidance on safety management. In practice, this study helps project managers to understand the current safety situation, so they can take appropriate measures to improve the safety situation according to the results to fulfill the goals. |
