The particle "zhe" in modern Chinese is always of much emphasis in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. In this study, the author summarizes the existed results on Ontology research on "zhe" and its teaching. Some of the fundamental concepts on semantics, grammar, and distribution of "zhe" are adopted in the thesis to probe into the semantic characteristics which decide its syntactic feature.The essay includes4chapters.The first chapter summarizes the existed results on Ontology research on "zhe", on its teaching as a second language study. And we agree the idea of "Ti" category and the durative feature of "zhe" through the perspectives of Ontology and teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The second chapter analyzes the semantics and the syntactic representations under the influence of these semantic features, including the "sectional feature","durative feature" and "ambiguity of dynamic and static feature", which constrains the semantic choice and distribution of "zhe", including the combination of verbs and "zhe ", the complement of verb and time adverbials. Then we try to sort the grammatical items according to the syllabuses in order to carry out a practical and hierarchical study of "zhe".The third chapter analyzes the teaching methods and types of students’error analysis. We find out some methods to differentiate the types of the errors, some are from the aspect of students such as Mother tongue transfer, personal cognitive limitation and emotional factors; some are from the teachers including improper teaching method and ambiguous emphasis.We put forward some thinking and designs for "Vzhe" in chapter four. Analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the "Vzhe" teaching methods and we held that grammatical teaching should abide by some effective teaching principles.
