As a dynasty established by northern nomads, Northern Wei Dynasty had harmonious and simple custom, and knew little about the development of Buddhism. However, Northern Wei Dynasty had become the center of Buddhism through the construction of generation ever since the dynasty moved to Ping Cheng. This article will attempt to figure out the question of where the Buddhism of Northern Wei Dynasty came from, how it developed and what feature it presented to us from the angle of history and geography. The main content based on the arrangement of the elements of Ping Cheng Buddhism faith and analysis of other geographical feature, and explores the feature of Ping Cheng Buddhism.The article consists of six parts.
