In teaching Chinese as a Foreign Languages, phonology teaching is the first and veryimportant step. Standard pronunciation can greatly promote other linguistic proficiency.The effect of the teaching of Chinese Phonetics as a Foreign Language nowadays is notvery satisfactory.This article is committed to study the articles that research on phoneticteaching Chinese as a Foreign Languages in the past20years. It tries to present theachievements of the research and the research methods by using literature analysis,quantitative research methods and charts inductive method, in the hope of giving somerevelations to the study of phonetic teaching and helping the actual speech classroom.Text is divided into five parts:The first chapter is the introduction.It describes the significance of the research topic,research methods and literature sources, recalls the teaching and research of phoneticresearch status and results, reviews the topics of the research content and process.Chapter two is the macro-research teaching content. From the research of teachingtools and teaching content (including consonants, vowels, tone, intonation, tone and soon),we conclude the research results.Chapter three is the macro-study of teaching methods. We sum up the main results ofpresent study by charts, by dealing with the teaching sequence and teaching methods.Chapter four is the national phonetic teaching. After quantitative analysis, we showthe country of the current status of phonetic teaching and research results and researchmethods.Chapter five is the conclusion. It concludes the paper and points outt the expectationsand inadequate.
