In this paper, we use the comparative method and questionnaire method to research the expression of Chinese predicate sentences with directional complement in Mongolian and the situation of acquiring that among Mongolian students. The comparative study is based on the research of predecessors and we have found the corresponding forms in Mongolian to Chinese predicate sentences with directional complement through some novels written by Mr. Lu Xun and their Mongolian versions. We chose the students in primary and intermediate classes from National University of Mongolia and Khovd University to be our respondents. We used translations and choice questions to test Mongolian students on the acquisition of the meaning of Chinese Directional complements and used sorting problems to test them on the acquisition of the structure of Chinese predicate sentences with verb-complement phrases. By studying the corresponding forms of Chinese predicate sentences with verb-complement phrases and its acquisition among Mongolian students, we have drawn some conclusions. Accordingly, we also proposed the corresponding forms to Chinese directional complements and Chinese predicate sentences with directional complement for Mongolian Chinese learners and teachers. This article mainly discussed these following problems:(1) The expression form of the Chinese directional complement in Mongolian(2) The corresponding forms of Chinese predicate sentences with verb-complement phrases;(3) The characteristics of Mongolian learners’commanding of Chinese predicate sentences with verb-complement phrases, the caused errors and the reasons. The results of this study:The corresponding Mongolian forms of Chinese directional complement (Chapter2, Chart1), the corresponding Mongolian forms of Chinese predicate sentences with directional complement (Chapter2, Chart3). The common errors caused by Mongolian Chinese learners effected by their mother tongue, such as’complement mixing,’the leak of verb predicate or the directional complement’and the disorder of predicate sentences with verb-complement. In Chapter3, we proposed some solutions for the errors and some suggestions in teaching. The contents are made up of three chapters. The first chapter described the research background, the research object, scope and research methods. Also summarizes the meaning and usage of the Chinese directional complement. In the second chapter, it compared Chinese directional complement and Chinese predicate sentences with directional complement and found out the expression and the corresponding forms in Mongolian. The third chapter analyzed the error that the Mongolian learners may make when learning Chinese predicate sentences with verb-complement and proposed some ways to correct the errors and some teaching suggestions.
