| With the strengthening of the world combinations in many aspects, the world has taken on the tendency of globalization and informatization, China’s international communications are "much more and deeper than before. In addition, new has become a window for Chinese to know of the world and vice verse. Therefore, the importance of news translation, especially from Chinese to English, is more and more obvious.There are two reasons for the author to choose the translation text:first, both of them are fit for the features of news text, that is, accurately word chosen, fluently language used and appropriately problems appeared. The two kinds of materials are both close to the current situation of China, to the need of foreign readers towards information in China, and to the thinking mode of foreign readers, too. Therefore both of the two news texts——the practical report on the issue of the South China Sea and the interview on Ministry of Land and Resources on protecting and rationally utilizing the land and resources are worth translating into English.Furthermore, the paper will also introduce the features of news text, and the fundamental theory and strategies by which news translation ought to abide. Through combining the theory with practice, the writer will do task description, case analysis and practical conclusion that fully reflect the training aim for MTI, and accord with the requirement of the thesis for MTI. |
