The senior high school student is in the crucial time during which they should attend the College Entrance Examination and a great many physiological features appeared which have important influence on Senior High School student’s healthy grown.So the change of body is an unavoidable issue of teenagers in their growing process. The variation itself and the correlative factors are very worthy to be investigated. The level of self-consistency and congruence, self-esteem have predictive effect on the students’ healthy grown, but it didn’t cover the relationship among the factor of body image with them.This study adopts the method of questionnaire includes the Chinese version of the Multidimensional Body Self-Relations Questionnaire (MBSRQ) which Ma Rumeng revised,the Self-Esteem Scale (SES), the Self Consistency and Congruence Scale (SCCS) revised by Wang Dengfeng to investigate the influence of the factor of body image, and the relationship with the level of self-consistency and self-esteem.The results were as follows: (1)According to Body Mass Index Asian Standard, the seniorhigh school students’ BMI scores are at an average level of health,there are significant correlations between the actual scores andthe expected ones which is higher. BMI and body image inappearance,(2)There are significant correlations between the senior highschool student and the norm of MBSRQ America. There aresignificant gender and origin differences between appearance,appearance evaluation, looks comfortable, comfortable evaluation,health, health evaluation, body-part satisfaction, diseaseevaluation, overweight. There are significant grade differencesbetween appearance evaluation, comfortable evaluation, health,overweight.(3)There are significant correlations between BMI and the bodyimage,especially with overweight and ego assort.(4)The self-esteem and the body image are significantlyinterrelated. The body image positively correlated with theself-flexibility, negatively correlated with the body image, thegeneral level of self-consistency and congruence, non-consistencyand self-rigidness.(5)The body image played a part of mediator role betweenself-esteem and self-consistency and congruence. The self-esteemhad a direct impact on self-consistency and congruence, and had anindirect impact on self-consistency and congruence through thebody image.
