About modal adverbs, there are many differences between Chinese and Japanese, but there has been controversy concerning the delimitation of Chinese modal adverbs. This paper attempts to compare the date of the Chinese modal adverbs, combined with teaching cases analyzed, the feasibility of providing teaching suggestions for teaching Japanese students of Chinese adverbs.This article is divided into four parts, the first part is an introduction, a summary of the main results of previous studies, indicating the significance of the topic, cited method of this study. The second part of the Chinese and Japanese, respectively modal adverbs body of research on the use of their language as well as the internal division in detail. The third part of the semantic and syntactic features and comparative analysis of language use in three areas, in order to identify the teaching focus. Section IV summarizes the problems Japanese students in the acquisition of modal adverbs encounter, analyze the causes errors occurred and to develop appropriate teaching strategies. Finally, the last part of the paper, this paper points out deficiencies exist.
