Research On The Relationship Of Vocational Interest、 Self-worth And Professional Commitment

In reference to Chengde Nursing Vocational College’s Nursing students investigation,this paper presents the study of understanding nursing student’s vocational interest, self-worthand professional commitment, and interest, the program of study presents how they relate toone another for the sake of Nursing Education this paper provides a theoretical basis andunderstanding of these traits.This study used a questionnaire survey, adopting the method of Liu Yong Xian’s revisedoccupational interest inventory, as well as Huang Xiting and Yang Xiong’s preparation forChinese values of the youth self worth scale. It also includes the methods of Lian Rong in thepreparation of the students’ professional commitment scale. There was also an investigation ofthe Chengde Nursing Vocational College1430Career Academy nursing specialty andsecondary school students. The data is from SPSS18.0software.The results are as following:1. There are significant differences between occupational interests in realistic andresearch of nursing school students. The occupational interests differ from greatly dependingon the different grade levels. The means of general nursing students in every dimension ofoccupation of interest are lower than those of the English nursing students; served as classservice of students’ interest in the above does not mean as the class service for students,especially the significant differences in art, research, social and enterprise type, occupationnursing school students who are interested in favour of society.2.Nursing school student’s self-worth is significant shown through differences in genderas far as self worth is concerned, the feeling of self worth in college boys is lower than that ofgirls; this is referring to the grade level students participated in the training of students; usingtheir self-worth to help in choosing majors according to their interests.Professional commitment of nursing school students apparently different between gradeslevels and majors. Secondary level students’ professional commitment level is higher than thatof college level students. They can choose according to their interests. Also, it should bementioned that the students’ professional commitment level is high.3.Occupational interests and social and global self-worth regression of professionalcommitment and its various dimensions were significant. Interest in the occupation as well associal and global self-worth predicted better professional commitment to its dimensions.
