The Practice Report On English Translation Of Attributive Clause In Cosco Busan Accident Report

By using Nide’s functional equivalence theory as well as Newmark’s literal translation and communicative translation theory in the thesis, we come to a conclusion on the characteristics of high-frequency distributive clauses in Cosco Busan accident report and its relevant translation techniques, which include pro translation method, rear translation method and adverbial translation method. Besides, it also provides an introduction on the background, general contents and the influence of the accident report. At the same time, it provides a general review of the maritime terms and gives some details on the problems and the solutions in the process of translating.
