Although the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology has provided technical guarantees for doctors' diagnosis,it also has caused problems.In order to enable patients to get efficient treatment,the combination of artificial intelligence and humane judgment of doctors has become the direction of medical care development.This text,Deep Medicine: How Artificial Intelligence Can Make Healthcare Human Again,belongs to social science texts,and it pays attention to the accurate transmission of information.Guided by Nida's Functional Equivalence Theory,the translator analyzes the original text at the lexical level,the syntactic level,and the textual level.In the translation process,according to the translation principles and requirements of functional equivalence,translation techniques such as literal translation,conversion of parts of speech,and reorganization are flexibly adopted.The aim is to achieve the equivalence between original text and translation and accurately convey information.In this way,the translation can meet the requirements of target readers.The translator hopes the report of translation practice can be helpful to other translators who translate social science texts in the future.In view of the high degree of authority of the medical care in the era of artificial intelligence in original text,this report can be useful for development of medical care in China in the future.
