In the area of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, classroom teaching andindividual teaching are two fundamental teaching organization forms, which co-existfrom the day they are born. They all play an important role in teaching Chinese toforeigners. However, due to the small size and scattered students of individualteaching, there is very little research on it. In addition, there are still a lot of peoplewho are biased to individual teaching. These reasons lead to the slow progress ofindividual teaching research. With more and more foreigners working and settling inChina, doing research on individual teaching has its necessity and importance.First of all, to highlight the characteristics of individual teaching according toliterature investigations and my own experiences. In the study, this paper selectidentity as research prospective. Selecting this perspective is mainly based oncharacteristics of individual teaching itself as well as current research situation andstudent sources of training school. Students in the questionnaire showed greatsimilarity also suggest that choosing identity as perspective has its rationality.Chapter three mainly discuss specific teaching problems of learners withdifferent identity, which focuses on these two types of learners, business people andforeign students. Students of other identities involved slightly. In specific discourse, choosing the teaching materials, management, evaluation and teaching strategies asanalysis point. Based on the actual survey data, analyzing current teaching situation oflearners with different identity and putting forward to corresponding suggestions. Forlearners of business identity, I put forward to some practical suggestions, like addingauxiliary teaching materials, adding business topics in class, strengtheningmanagement in attendance and homework, making teaching plans allowingfounforeseen circumstances, more practice in class, mainly oral assessment and so on.For foreign students, in addition to the consistent use of conventional teachingmaterials, we should add daily topics, attach importance to "speak" in the class andcombine oral assessment and paper assessment. In the end, presenting two specific teaching cases in view of business people andforeign student. Combined with the analysis of chapter three, displaying andanalyzing two cases in detail from teaching object, the use of teaching material, management methods, assessment methods and teaching strategies. I use these twocases to support identity perspective and highlight the value of this study.
