Quantifier is the unique characteristics of Sino-Tibetan Language in the parts of speech. Quantifier serves as one indispensable part for people to express their ideas and transmit their feelings in daily life. And Individual quantifier is an important sub-categories of quantifier,as its usage is very complex and its collocation with Nouns is not completely one to one, Quantifier has become a major difficulty in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. Individual quantifier in traditional teaching Chinese as a foreign language emphasis on grammar, ignoring its semantic features and collocation. In this article, 30 individual quantifier from six comprehensive course textbooks of “Developing Chinese” as research object, semantic analysis trying to be research. And we will examine the textbooks choreography of individual quantifier in “Developing Chinese”- Comprehensive Course, in order to put forward suggestions for textbook choreography and further suggestions for individual quantifier teaching.This article falls into five parts. First is preface, mainly discussing the value of the research, the source of corpus and the definition of the terms, research overview of individual quantifier, research scope, research methods. In the first chapter 30 individuals Quantifiers within the scope of the research are classified and the semantic of the key individual quantifiers are detailed analyzed, and then the individual quantifiers which are easily confused are discriminated. In the second chapter, we mainly analyze questionnaire of the second language acquisition on individual quantifiers, combined with the HSK dynamic composition corpus we summarizes errors types on the individual quantifiers and the cause of errors. In the third chapter, we will examine the textbook choregraphy of individual quantifiers in six comprehensive course textbooks of “Developing Chinese” from four aspects: selection, the points set of individual quantifiers, interpretation and exercises,and then we put forward suggestions about textbook compilation. The fourth chapter Proposes teaching strategies on the individual quantifiers.
