Study On Management Mode Of Modern Urban Communities

Urban community management mode is very important in building community, italso concerns to economic and social development of China. Therefore, it is importanttheoretically and practically for economic and cultural developments of China to reformof our Urban community management mode and redefine the functions of community.According to the research literature on urban community management mode at homeand abroad as well as practical results, a new community management mode-communityautonomy, is proposed in this paper. The paper elaborated some principle that innovationmust follows, include reality principle, the principle of people-oriented, the clear principleof authority and responsibility and the principle of coordinated development. Also, thispaper elaborated six ways to the new community management mode, for excmple,improve regulations and laws, cultivate talents of community, the introduction of marketmechanisms, enhance the participation of the community, support community-basedorganizations and the establishment of community culture. Community self-governmentwould combine with community administration through these principles and ways, andthe benefits of the urban community would be maximized through optimal allocation offunctions.The paper adopt the case study method to test the feasibility of a new urbancommunity management model with two communities in Shenzhen City, A Community.We conducted a questionnaire survey and make inquiries with community residents tocompare the performance of the community management mode. We concluded that thenew community management mode is much better than the traditional communitymanagement mode.At last, the paper considers the actual operation of the community managementmode the community management mode of our country must reform practically,establish the management mode that suitable for us. Only in this way can we ensure thescientific nature of the community building and promote the country’s socialistconstruction.
