The Research On The Role Of Government Of Nanjing In Building Regional Innovation Resource Sharing Mechanism

With the advent of the era of knowledge economy, regional innovation has already become the key factor to determine an area’s competition ability and development potentiality. Regional innovation resources which act as the foundation of economic competition has become the core element to promote a regional’s economic development. Therefore, in an opening regional innovation network, realizing the sharing of resources and improving the efficiency of resource utilization is of great importance to improve the regional innovation ability.This paper which is based on the theory of regional innovation network, try to establish a theoretical analysis system of the sharing mechanism through the research of the government’s functions in promoting the sharing of regional innovation resources. The main contents of this paper are:firstly, analyzes the background and significance of the research; Secondly, the theoretical basis of regional innovation network is summarized, explaining the reason why the government should involved in the construction of the sharing mechanism of regional innovation resources, and analyzing the government’s function in this construction. Thirdly, combined with the specific circumstances of Nanjing, which is China’s national innovation oriented city, this paper not only analyzes the advantages of sharing of regional innovation resources in Nanjing, but also points out the the current situation, problems and causes of these deficiencies of Nanjing’s sharing mechanism; Fourthly, based on the above research, this paper also introduces some experiences of international governments which successfully construct the sharing mechanism of regional innovation resources, points out the importance of establishing the sharing mechanism of regional innovation resources, and explains the mechanism’s functions in the adjustment of interest and the integration of innovation resources. Finally, this paper puts forward some methods and policies to improve the sharing mechanism of regional innovation resources.
